Dr. Kenia Carreras-De la Rosa is a dedicated medical professional with a solid academic background and extensive experience in General Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine. She graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in 2019, after completing her previous studies in Public Health with a specialization in Gerontology at the University of Puerto Rico. Additionally, Dr. Carreras-De la Rosa is currently pursuing Aesthetic Medicine certification through Empire Medical Training in Florida.

Throughout her career, Dr. Carreras-De la Rosa has worked in various hospitals and healthcare centers in Puerto Rico, including Bayamón Medical Center and Puerto Rico Women and Children’s Hospital, as well as in private practice. Her experience in emergency medicine and hospitalist care has equipped her with exceptional skills in handling a wide range of medical situations for both adult and pediatric patients.

In her professional journey, Dr. Carreras-De la Rosa has remained committed to continuous learning and professional development. In addition to her expertise in general medicine, she has specialized in aesthetic procedures, always striving to provide personalized solutions that promote both the well-being and beauty of her patients.

Dr. Carreras-De la Rosa has also been actively involved in volunteer and community work. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was part of the Puerto Rico National Guard’s Joint Task Force, contributing to triage and screening efforts at the airport, among other tasks. Her professional and compassionate approach has enabled her to offer comprehensive and quality healthcare in various settings.

Currently, Dr. Carreras-De la Rosa serves as a general medicine and aesthetic specialist at Restora Wellness & Aesthetic Medicine in San Juan, PR, where she continues to offer her expertise in both general and aesthetic medicine.
